Dance of the Drums is movement 2 of the overall work, "Song & Dance" by Gene Koshinski. It is a piece that requires many technical aspects of drumming, such as diddles, dynamics, instrument changes, and more. This piece is unique for its use of the conch shell. One player holds the conch shell while drumming in the other hand. The other player performs quick runs across the bongos and congas at the same time.
